coley_merrinThis is like the post of posty posty doom. Forewarning. It is full of random and incoherence and wangst and whatever.
...Meaning, I had three drafts of a post saved with about three days worth of me being random. However. lol. :| Pushing the post button is too much for my delicate sensibilities.
Yesterday. Not the best day.
I sort of accidentally stumbled across this video which, though not the video that brings memories, but the song itself... Driving in the car, having her tell me that was one she liked.
I miss that, and that's not something that goes away, and I'm trying not to be maudlin about it as days go by. I don't think I'll ever forget that, because there's so much I still wish I could share. *fond eyes at the "Miracle" mv*
And then, then people can't get it together. The prospect of spending Thanksgiving alone... Why is that a brighter thought than spending it with a whole house full of strangers? In my family's house, sure I'd spend some of the day on the computer, but to sit in someone's house, someone I barely know... While their kids run around. And I'm not really socially forward... I'm not going to be all "HAY, I'll help you in the kitchen~" No...I'd be "HAY, I'll be over in the corner in a chair looking like the grim reaper, writing about my boys."
...However there seems to be new developments, but I'm not holding my breath. Why can't everyone just get along?
What else... Oh yes. Catching up on the days of the Daily Show I missed while gone... deleted a lot of the news. Trying to catch up on all the rest of the tv. Managed to get up on FlashForward, and need to check in on Supernatural next. But I did go from 40 hours recording available, to 90, but most of that was deleting episodes of "Say Yes to the Dress" and "Trauma: Life in the ER" that I had already seen.
I'm trying to determine how many shades of colors my arm will be in a few days. Dummmyyy... That door is heavy. _-_ (Blue... Healed quick.)
I bought corn on the cob. I haven't had fresh corn in... *_* Forever. Baked it in cream and salt and pepper and it was... I can't even describe. And I got leeks and spinach to go in the dish I made~ I'd never actually used leeks before (looked up how to clean them just in case)... I think I will have to again, because I popped a piece in my mouth and didn't even faint and spit it out as I would have a raw onion. And my eyes only stung the bare minimum. Leeks always make me think of Kyo, oddly. And his...gas mask. Sorry, darling, I think I like them... Of course, making that meant I ate dinner at like, 8pm. Good planning there, me.
...Also, I have a new cookbook. *exults*
...I'm craving gruyere. I wonder if the stuff in the fridge is any good any more? >.>
Why do people let me waste my time making icons? I'm never satisfied, lol. It always looks better when someone else makes it... I kind of really like this new Qmi icon I made though. ;_; Helps the picture quality was better than the last one. Weird.
...Animal!verse part three is 10k. Heaven help us all. I don't know if I regained my brain cells. I...yes. Quantity =/= quality. Though I'm semi-satisfied.
Prince!SiHan with the invasion of Kyu and Mi (so...both combined...) is...17k. >.>
I'm "doing" NaNoWriMo in that I am trying to write the minimum of words on my fics per day... Which means when these hit the "ready" stage people will be ready to kick me into the stratosphere to stop my cluttering of their flists. Sigh. I made my goal three of the first four days, but I made up for the missed goal with some excess. I've written about...18 words today, and I'll be out of the house for an hour and a half. I'm not too worried, since my Geng scenes rolled quick last night. *stares at Jun* Cooperate. I contemplated working on the novel for about...1.5 seconds. But. If I take my eyes off these fics, I'll never come back as I should. It's a sad truth. So it is the month of fic progress, for yay~
