coley_merrinAnecdotal… I am such a spaz about organization… clutter clutter, piles of things, pretty singers and horses and gracious knows what all. *pauses to make my eyes cease burning from the onion I just cut up* Ahem. But the kitchen is oddly different… There have been… talkings-to to people when someone puts away the spatulas in the spoon drawer, or, kitchen forbid, putting the can opener in the wrong spot. I am surrounded by piles of books and papers and empty plates, and am frowny-attentive about kitchen organization. Fabulous.
But as I sit enjoying a piece of bread I wore my hands out kneading last night with my chai latte, I can’t really complain about the complexities of my cleaning abilities. :P
While we’re on the topic, I particularly hate the sound of the vacuum cleaner, and always have.
And to segue from doodad to another… I’m not a particularly fail gamer… excepting anything that requires guns or first person anything… but Eternal Sonata is kicking my behind. I’ve had two game over screens. I’m not fighting bosses. *taps fingers* Are you supposed to have to start heavy-duty leveling up less than two hours into a game? Apparently I’m going to, anyway. I’m getting a little tired of seeing half my party die off while I flail.
…Yesung and Sungmin are singing a song for a charity album for abandoned dogs? You all suck in such a fantastic way. ;_;
And because I had nothing better to do, I was watching music videos this morning and a few of things struck me… I’m always amused by the total ninja appearances of Hankyung in “You Are the One” vid…. They must seriously have included all of his ninja appearances from the whole ep for it to feature him as much as it does. Hankyung falls on his behind? Check. Hankyung’s head materializes over group shot? Check. Hankyung waves, snowboard in hand? Check. Hankyung and Sunglasses? Check. I’m tempted now to go watch the ep to see if he appears more than I thought. *_* (We’ll ignore the part where I teared up.) Also, struck again by how much Yesung looks like he just stepped out of the pages of D.Gray-man in his jacket. -_-
And in M’s “U”… in the same scene that tickled me with Boy Wonder’s “I have my hands on two of them and ain’t nothing you can do about it” part (and apparently the only person I had watched before today in that scene :P) I was taking note of people’s hands, which are pretty uniformly on hips or each other or just hanging, and then Kyuhyun is like *thighs* which is an image a month or two ago that would’ve made me run away screaming “Not the baaaaby” (and in the interest of full disclosure, I admit that I still do the cute-and-vocal “Oh, baby <3” at him sometimes… not sure what that says about me.)… Until I sort of gave up fighting the tide, especially after having watched 2700 hours of M interviews and shows, and then I actually watched Henry during that scene in “U,” and I’ll be exiting from under the couch in about a decade. Thank you.
And, AFI is starting to ramp up for new album release if they're preparing to bring in people for the studio by asking for videos. Yeeeeees. I wish I were not totally insane, as I'd be tempted to send in a video myself (Smith comes to get you? Are they serious? lol. Just for that alone.), but I am, so I will not. (Because this would totally how my video would go: "Hi, I'm a Jen. I'm a fan. I'd like to molest your guitarist. I sit on my couch all day. I like Korean boys. Pick me!")

Who exactly split up Kyu and Siwon? Is it Kyu's people or the people who want to kill him? If it's the people who want to kill him (say there were a few on the inside that were close to Kyu's family; I picture some Wormtongue's in there whispering poisoned words) then they could want to split them up in order to isolate Kyu and/or get rid of the people they know would follow them to the end of the earth.
If it's Kyu's people, perhaps Siwon was only there through Kyu's childhood, and when Kyu became an adult and was old enough to assume some responsibilities, Siwon wouldn't be needed. Maybe they knew that all along they'd be separated at that point, so they did keep a boundary up between them? So he's sent off either somewhere else or given the chance to be a normal person and get married and such. Maybe it's best nobody really knows how close they really were, and nobody would have expected Kyu to have allies or people search for him after BigBadThingsHappen? Maybe even Kyu himself is surprised that Siwon comes after him. Of course that could bring back the triangle cause I can picture it being:
Siwon: Kyu! Are you okay? *fussy Siwon*
Kyu: Wha-what are you doing here?
Siwon: They said you were okay, but what if those people found you? I couldn't let you stay somewhere all alone.
Kyu: You came all this way for me? *teary eyes*
Both: *teary embrace*

omg have you gone to Soompi today? All the baby pictures in there! Kya so cute! Baby!Geng is adorable. Sungmin has not changed at all, neither has Siwon. The first pic of baby!Teukie is SOOO adorable. <3 And Yesung totally has not changed (first one posted) GUH *doesn't know what else to say*

He's an adult, of age, and not a moron, even if someone did rip his roots out from under him. Something else planned...? Ugh. My head. That would start to explain their being split... because either scenario has potential. If there are no tears, it would be a shock, hehe. *is still mired in *____* land*

They keep him drugged on the trip, for ease... maybe the guard at night falls asleep/gets drunk, and kyu's horse does indeed wander away with him on it. ...at least part of that makes sense anyway. More so that "We killed your family, but here, watch us deposit you in China. Have a nice life!" ...yeah. Hmmm.
(Geng, incidentally, lives by a lake, in the forest, in the middle of nowhere. Siwon finding them there, however long after, is totally a deus ex machina kind of thing, cause he may be the best tracker known on earth, but wow, that's lucky... unless he... hmm. I had a thought that they disguise kyu as a woman as they travel, to keep anyone (just in case) from tracking them... and if people coming to trade, say that weird Geng dude in the forest finally found himself a woman met Siwon's ears, he'd have a lead at least...)

Someone who's been hurt, and is really not healing off by himself... (welcome to the life and times of Jen the one who writes by crossing her fingers and hoping plot points fly in from the heavens) If there really is a Wormtongue sort of coup having taken place, with someone having killed his family and made off with his place, then... If he's going to get it back, there's going to have to be some subterfuge going on. The three of them do not an army make, after all.
Kyu: Well, I'll just have to surrender myself to him, then.
Siwon and Geng: *have twin heart attacks*
He'll be in China long enough for A. Siwon to arrive, B. the dudes who were after him to find him again and drag him off to leave him to die, and C. recover from that episode... Maybe a month from Geng finding him, till the day they set out to go back? Maybe?
Siwon: *leads up an extra horse besides the one he came on*
Kyu: Two horses? We're going on only two horses?
Siwon: You'll ride with Geng.
Kyu: ...What?

I think if Kyu really thought about surrendering himself it would kill me right there... though I could totally see him doing something like that if Geng or Siwon were in harm's way because of it (say a close call or two too many). Though I think he'd be the silent type to go and not let them worry about it, however he also would know Siwon at least would follow if he didn't say anything so... umm... have fun?

Siwon and Geng are kneeling behind Kyu with a fabulous plan laid out, and Kyu totally mixes it up. it seemed like a good idea at the time! I'm going to give myself up... because he might suspect that I will. But he'll really suspect me if I do, but that means we're totally twice as smart in a ninja kind of way. ...yeah. fun indeed. *thinks on that*
Kyu: *insists he sit behind Geng and not like some girl in front*
Geng: Okay.
Kyu: *starts nodding off and bonks his head on Geng's shoulder*
