Zhou Mi Love Collage project update~ Again!

Do you remember this? When everyone sent in all their hearts for Zhou Mi~  XD That was a little over a year ago! Click through to see an update~



Once upon a time, I had harebrained idea that I wanted to give Zhou Mi something physical, with everyone's love on it!  :)  I didn't want to put it on paper, because I was pretty sure it'd crumple, and he'd get something that wasn't fit to be looked at - especially if he had to take it on a flight or something.  The only way I could think of was to put it on cloth.  Of course, I knew I would have almost no chance to give it to him myself.  But there's always a way~

I printed out our digital gift onto an iron-on transfer, and put it onto some twill I had hanging around.  I got sparkly thread and little things to decorate it with, and sewed it up for him.  Mostly it came out looking like a big pot holder, because I was doing it at the Very Last Second the night before I was to leave to start my journey.  I like doing things Very Last Second.  So it didn't end up perfect.

Fast forward a week and something, and there I am in Seoul.  I got cute stationary, a bag, and tissue paper.  With a lot of help translating what I wanted to say, and packaging it prettily from Rebecca, I included a letter, the cloth collage, and another little gift as well.  With luck, I was able to pass it off to @ hyebii in Seoul, in case she would be able to hand it to Zhou Mi.

And she did~ :)  But here are a few pictures before we get to that~


The front, ironed on, with a gray border.

The back!  The text running top and bottom are the countries from which fans submitted their hearts.  ^^ Just in case he couldn't read them on the front.

The big block of text in the middle is the same text sent along with the original image: Our dear Zhou Mimi! Do you know? Everywhere, there are people who support you~ Even though you can't see us, and hear our cheers, but we are always here! Everyday, we think of you, send our well-wishes, and jiayou~ Below are well-wishes from Mitang from all over the world^^ Some of these countries are ones you've never been to~ But your smile and your song, we've felt them. [We] hope you can feel our love for you ♥


It had heat-affixed rhinestones, sequin flowers, and an iron-on koala.

The letter that went with it~ I put the translation on top of it so no one had to deal with my writing.  I tried, and hopefully the characters are legible. XD

Below is a second letter that was included, which was attached to a necklace that I had picked out and bought.


Zhou Mi flew out of Seoul to Shenzhen not long ago, and some fans including @ hyebii were there to see him off!  You can see the pictures here. 

You can see him holding the little bag.  \o///  A huge thanks goes to her for all the trouble of keeping the bag safe, and then getting it to him!  And all the fans that were there as well, talking to him, and taking pics, and waiting so patiently for him~ :)  To see pictures of him holding the bag, it was almost more than I could dream~ <3 

So if he did or didn't see it before, he is able to see the product of everyone's love for him~~  It wasn't just "my" gift to him, it was from all of us.  :)

A huge amount of thanks goes to everyone who helped in this project~  From translating, right down to actually putting it into his hands.  ^^  And of course, everyone who participated in the first place~  <3  You all are wonderful!

I think it was super amazing foresight that you did it in cloth lmao. I forget. How big is it? Not blanket size I'm guessing, lol, but WHOOHOO! Great new year news~ 8D ♥

Especially knowing that I was the one that was transporting it (and it...did not leave my side)... I knew even if I put it on paper and reinforced it in steel, I'd end up sitting on it and denting it. ~_~ Okay maybe not steel. But even if I'd put it in, like, a paper towel roll... (lol that would've been pretty. I could bedazzled the cardboard. Or put unicorn wrapping paper on it~ XD)

But yes, the size of it was restrained by how big I could get the iron-on sheets. XD So it's about 8x11 give or take~ A little bigger with the edging.
