It's funny how fandom changes... And I do mean, reaching back into the realm of way, way back, when the Internet was young (to me).

Newsgroups...mailing lists...message boards...fic archives... fic archives from mailing lists, haha. It took me years and years to get into the habit of typing "yahoogroups" instead of "egroups." Migrating from those mailing lists to communities... <3

Those once in a while fandom chats that would leave people breathless in anticipation to just gather and be fans and stalk the people they admired, and then track people down by IM and pretend to be smart while not fangirling.

...Okay, maybe that was just me. XD I remember messaging people and mentally flailing around that I was an amazing specimen of dumb and should never log in again. I'm fairly certain that was only me. x.x It's not fair, other people get to be more confident on the internet. XD Oh LJ, I love you so. <3

Anyway. I am not dead. Just, life has been kicking my butt, and if I could just keep a sleep schedule for one week straight...! I could get stuff done. (That and I got absorbed by the Olympics, so back to the regularly scheduled distractions. XD)

Next thing to post is the last chapter of the SiHan which I haaave been working on. ;____; So sorry it's been so long. I failed my goal. But onwards and upwards~ And then to post other things~

Email lists made me very nervous for various reasons... worse than communities, because if you had an email thread going, everyone saw it... Eek! Haha.

Well. I'm not going to say I was glad it was not just me, but I think you understand what I mean, hehe. <3 It's one of those things. *gives us both points!*

Yuna was amazing! When she started crying, I was crying with her. And then through the awards ceremony. ;____; It was amazing to watch, really. <3 There were really amazing skaters this year~

haha i can relate to changes in the fandom XD i started off with c-idols and copious amounts of videos on vcd, and minimal interntetz. i didn't really get hot and heavy into fics until probably midway into crazy fandomming. ahh the good ole days, lol. ♥

looking forward to the last bit of that sihan! but take your time of course. you are one of those fic writers who post updates regularly, and you really deserve this break ^^ although i do miss your regular fic updates, i always just read through you're older stories. still does not make me less giddy after a couple of reads. it really helps we share the same biases. i'm so glad ♥

I was right up in the fic thing in my first fandom, but yeah, I remember those days. XD There were amazing things done for the love of fandom. <3

I remember why I don't post until I'm mostly done with this, because I feel bad for people waiting, haha. I mean, it's one thing if it's worth it, but I get antsy because I'm late and then I get later and later because I'm antsy... Bad news. XD <3<3 Oh, biases~~ Hopefully those stay around for a long time. <3

I love the getting sucked into the Olympics.I play no sports but they have a way of making me think that it would be a really good idea to take up speed skating. I actually watched Cross-Country Skiing the most because I found one of the Norwegian men has a name that when said really fast sounds like my name....so I may have watched to cheer "myself" on. :P

I hate life sometimes~ School is too repetitive. I need to find a job after I graduate that offers variety!

At least next year (my final year) I get spares! This school is mean and only allows 12th years to have them....
