So I was watching the ep of Zhong Yi Da Ge Da... And I was spacing out when I saw something, haha. XD And was like, I have nothing better to do, so I will...gif this moment.

I spent a lot of time fighting with my computer about this, mostly because I'm:

A. An idiot.
B. An idiot.
C. Determined unto death

And as a bonus, um...

D. Smitten

Haha.

Whose knee are you molesting, Zhou Mi?

Zhou Mi: I am going to demonstrate random things to you while Henry is performing.

Kyuhyun: Mmhmm.

Zhou Mi: Okay, let's pay attention. *has a safe moment before deciding somewhere else to settle his hand* (Is that really paying attention, Mi? Really?)

Kyu and Mi: *watch*

Zhou Mi: *finger wiggle* Oh wait. I guess that's being too obvious. XD We'll continue later~

...I have more. lol. I just need to get to it. Ironically my brain got pulled into the "What color are they wearing?" debate, and this brought everything to a grinding halt. "But they'd look so good in white!" "But isn't that more of a funeral color...?" "But they'd look good in black, too!" *facepalm*

Hah! That would give a palm a break... (and I'm just going to sidestep the brain here) hopefully it fits -

He wasn’t sure if his apprehension rose or fell, eyes fixed on Zhou Mi’s face and reeling with the knowledge that when Zhou Mi saw him as well, he looked as though he had been punched in the stomach and left to breathe. The man tearing up in front of him, that was the man whose hand he’d be taking. They’d been through some of the “worse” already, and because they were stronger for it…

“Kui Xian,” Zhou Mi breathed, stepping forward. Running his hands down his lapels. He said it as though Kyuhyun were gorgeous, the most amazing thing he had ever seen. And though he scoffed a bit in self-deprecation, he sort of hoped it was true, too. The man who stood in front of him, so crisp and pristine, face composed just so, eyes damp… He wanted to capture that feeling for all time, knowing they belonged together. That was the most amazing feeling he had ever had.

Zhou Mi’s hand was warm under his. “You look great,” he murmured, and got a curving smile in return.

“You too…”

Hankyung cleared his throat before they could lean in to each other, muttering at them almost under his breath. “After the ceremony, guys?”

Smiling, Zhou Mi took his hand, lacing their fingers together and walking with him. His heard was pounding so hard he was lucky to hear the words that were being spoken, focused on the stroking of Zhou Mi’s thumb on his hand, and the way his own traced Zhou Mi’s knuckles. It was just a few minutes at the most, and it wasn’t as though there were second thoughts as vows were repeated.

A peculiar word, vows. A promise. A hope. He watched the gleaming smile grow as he gave his affirmation.

“I do. Kui Xian, I do.”

That little reiteration nearly had tears springing into his own eyes, having to bite down on his tongue to stop it.

He barely remembered responding, the cool of the rings, sliding one down over Zhou Mi’s knuckles, the blur in his brain as words of confirmation were spoke, words that joined them in ways that were hard to tear apart.

The kissing part, that part he heard just fine, and it was one area where there were no questions between them. With one hand freed, he curled it in Zhou Mi’s lower back, holding him there. And with a kiss, the soft eager press of mouth on mouth, they started a new time in their lives. Staring it, as they had begun together.

Maybe it was nerves or relief or joy, but they started to laugh, clinging together and shaking with it, as hoots and whistles and applause sounded around them.

I want them to get married, like seriously T-T ♥ this is so sweet, it makes my heart melt and my brain leak out of my ears. Picturing them one next to the other, making vows, and then kissing so sweetly is more than my brain can handle D:

*helps your brain back in!*

Hardly believing that they were really doing it, that they could be together... Getting to go on a honeymoon and having to kick themselves out of bed... XD~ Such happiness! <3 I may have to come back to this once I get my brain steered in the right direction again...

This is totally different, and I've been bouncing around between stuff lately, but it wouldn't get out of my head. <3

***

They debated for some time about where they should go. The merits of the places they looked at. Snugging cozily in front of a fire versus playing in the water. Windburn versus jellyfish stings. Frostbite or sand in completely unmentionable places.

In the end, they chose they beach. Their clothes were nice, if informal. Neither of them wore ties. Hell, they could barely force themselves into flip flops.

His stomach flip-flopped, though, when Zhou Mi took his hand. The curl of fingers with his, and warmth inside. The man who did the ceremony spoke mostly in a language they didn’t understand. They knew the English part of the ceremony, though Kyuhyun had to laugh at Zhou Mi’s pronunciation...even in the middle of the ceremony. Zhou Mi huffed at him, but never let go. The ring Zhou Mi put on his hand was the one he had worn so long. The ring he gave Zhou Mi was nothing special, except that to see it on that hand lit him up inside. And after they kissed, the kindly man allowing them a second of privacy, he howled some mix of Korean and Chinese as Zhou Mi managed to squeeze him tight and actually lift him off of his feet for a few steps. They were solemn as they went off on their own, laughing and boisterous as they fled down to the beach. The little paper in its folder that tight them to each other safe with their sandals.

“You look even skinnier wet!” he called, as Zhou Mi got doused in the surf.

Zhou Mi’s insult was lost to him as he dunked down as well, rising up with a gasping laugh, spitting salt water and bringing Zhou Mi down with him.

Zhou Mi’s face was bright with love as he tossed a piece of sea flotsam from Kyuhyun’s hair.

“Good thing the water is warmer,” Zhou Mi chattered at him. Zhou Mi, with his wet shirt, and dripping hair.

“Warmer in the water now,” he murmured.

Zhou Mi tasted a bit of the sea, but also of stolen nights and too-hot spices, and the ridiculous candies he was so fond of. Like love and a stolen week and promises that would never be too large to keep. Of friendship he had never expected. Of belonging worth more than anything in his life.

There were people who they would tell where they went who would be upset that they had missed out on a week of fun in the sun. And there would be the people they told about why they went, who would be upset that they had missed seeing the big event.

But they walked back to their seaside hut, with the precious certificate carried by one, and their cheap plastic sandals by the other. And between them, curled hands, and the sly promises of their eyes of what would be after they ate, and showered. And promised a different kind of love, as long as their hands could reach.

“Zhou Mi,” Kyuhyun murmured later that night, the nice sheet more of an air block than a covering on his naked skin. The lump beside him, who had been distractingly stuffing orange pieces into his mouth, stared at the sudden use of his name.

“Wha?”

“There’s sand in the bed. Move your feet and you can feel it.”

Zhou Mi did so, experimenting. “Yes. And so…?”

He smirked against the skin of Zhou Mi’s shoulder. “Seems we need to try the shower again.”

*gets a big bucket for your heart* :) We will catch it~

And oh, how I love teasing!Kyu~ <3

I'm only one chapter away from finishing animal!verse I think... and still slowly poking at the QMi "oneshot." I got a bit inspired by the ficlets the other day~

I have one of my notebooks where I wrote out some of "For Always" and "Slip Stitch" during car rides or whatever... Was thinking of scanning a few pages to compare what I'd written and what got posted... But I wonder if all I'd be doing is showing off my really bad handwriting, lol. (okay, just mostly bad. I was writing in a hurry!)
