I...am going to be dead tomorrow. I haven't written more than a word all day because I've been... I dunno. Watching tv. Talking on the phone. Talking on IM. Making 10 variously fail versions of a KyuMi icon. Flailing. Updating every site known to man in anticipation of the MV...

Oh wait. That last one is what I'm doing now. :| :| Way later than the teaser, guys. I have to work tomorrow. Maybe. At some point. SORT OF.

Sigh. Coherency is not something found naturally at two in the morning.

KyuMi genderswitch has passed 18k. Ummmmmmmm. I think I may have written the end, but there is a lovely blank chunk in the middle of chapters four and five that is in need of uh. Help and filling in. It is an aimless sack of something not complimentary if I can say so myself. Nor is there a hidden diamond. But possible something readable, maybe. (My goal in life, find and add as many squicks to do with childrearing and make everyone slink away very confused and sad...j/k. Only the poor people subjected to my researching have to deal with this. Who knew that could be used for lubrication...)

And... I have found a new ~inspirational song~ for the Henhae. Which is "Savin' Me." Never heard the song before in my life, despite it being a few years old, which goes to show that I have to be beaten over the head with something before I find things. I was just randomly in Red Robin the other day enjoying my teriyaki chicken burger, and it came over the radio. I never listen to the radio... It's probably a touch to the darker side of what I'm aiming for (maybe) but... So it goes.

(Let me just preface this with: I love to learn, and have a high tolerance for children's shows, and this is infinitely more constructive than "Bridezillas")

...Yeah. I am sad to say, that learning Mandarin by watching "Ni Hao, Kai-lan"... It is probably not the most comprehensive or effective study guide in the world. I feel like it needs a workbook. There are times they more or less explain their extraneous sentences but other times, you're just kind of like... ?_? (What age group is this aimed at? Do they pick this up, other than the verb or word of the day?)

...Which is when I run to AIM with a question mark in my eye for explanation because I would be up a creek without a paddle. For real. Some of the vocab/sentences include "dinosaur bracelet" or "I'll help you tie your shoe." Which if applied to actual vocab...could be good real-world stuff (maybe not the dino part). Also. "I love my hat." And "the crabs have come."

I have watched three episodes, but HEY. At least I can form a sentence or three already! Which is three or so more than I could before! ...Even if it is "I love my hat." Or "The bird is a hat" as I just demonstrated. XD XD XD;;;;;; Has a hat, ftw.

And on the puter side of life... The fact that you can brows folders in Stacks in Snow Leopard is like, the sexiest thing ever. ...It makes me happy like I don't even know. XD The 7gb of freed up hard drive is nice too, of course. And I'm sure I'll find additional things about it that makes me happy, too. VMWare works a lot faster... thought that might be the fact that I finally applied the update from...June. >.>

Chapter 3 is almost out of the editing table. Fic is 25k and I still need to finish chapter seven. *_* Genderswitch got 500 words added today, so progress is progress. \o/

New season of "Top Chef" starts next week... That'll be exciting! Though, I really have been enjoying "Top Chef Masters"... The new season will fill my food competition needs. Yes, I am that person. It is not even a guilty pleasure. If it has "food" and "competition," man, I am usually all over it. I don't care if it's "Hell's Kitchen" or "The F Word" (the two completely opposite sides of Gordon Ramsay) or "Chopped" or "Top Chef" or "Ultimate Cake Off" or "Food Network Challenge" (Cakes!!) or... Yeah. About the only thing I don't watch is "Iron Chef America"...Though "The Next Iron Chef" I will have to watch. The Japanese version of "Iron Chef" got me through many lonely hours of writing history papers in college. <3

...The rest of the tv schedule is generally filled with shows like "Maternity Ward" or "Trauma Center: Life in the ER" and all variations thereof. It's amazing I write AT ALL. I should detail all...54 timers on my DVR that are set to record some day. XD XD;;;;;;;;; Though I think a couple of those shows are canceled. :( (I do watch fiction, too. :| It's just not that season yet.)

...I am also Ultra Excited because I just realized that "Project Runway" begins in eight days. Um. Um. \o/ I'm super curious to see how the production values will change with the switch from Bravo to Lifetime. *__* I haven't sewn in ages...

And now that I've finished my tea and eggs, off to make some bread dough~ (Soon as this episode is finished...)(And after that, MonsterQuest. Hmm, Thunderbirds.)

Today was productive...

Got to the grocery store, to the post office, to the library (whoops, overdue... I am not reading a lot of late. I have books and am not reading. D:) I'll be cooking up a metaphorical storm tomorrow afternoon ahead of the arrival of The Company which will... effectively deny me writing time for the second weekend in a row. ...Probably less fun than last weekend too.

But, the first chapter of SiHan's wing, "The Air I Breathe," is more or less finished. Finished as in... It has a string of scenes that all logically and coherently follow each other. XD And at 3,600 words, gives me some room if I want to wedge anything else in there. Chapter two and the HenHae are the most pressing to me, and of course I am endlessly tinkering with a continuation of the genderswitch and...the baseball KyuMi. Which means a little posting break for me, which isn't really a bad thing, I think. *_* I don't want to get obnoxious. Party crasher. XD

Otherwise, work. Hm. What can I say...

...Siwon. Siwon. Siwon. Why? I confess... I confess that his "horse" nickname had a tiny, eensy weensy little part in forming my bias. But. Putting a cute cartoon horse on your gorgeous/fabulous/stupidly hot chest is not a good way to make me stop. When we got the first image of SuJu posing in front of the carousel for the calendar, I remembering spazzing a little like "Omg, will there be pics with carousel horses?" And though there wasn't... Bring on more Super Show pics~

Also... Hae is. So cute. *makes wistful hands at Siwon's shirt* I would wear it forever. ;_;

I was randomly clicking links on youtube tonight, cause it's fun to spam Heather. XD XD XD They make it so EASY...

Anyway. Ran across some old(er) interviews and shows, and a quote kind of leaped out of me...

I'm less than four years older! It could be worse. I think they meant a larger gap though. *ahem ahem ahem* Sparkly pants or no...

The more I watch interviews with him, though, the more I see awkwardly serious or Very Very Long things spill out of his mouth. Sometimes it's very cute! Sometimes very awkward. But holy buckets, the boy can babble. There are moments when I want to bury myself in the couch cushions to keep from dying as he's chatting away. It's prompted me to have at least one episode of, "You just stand over there and look pretty, darling." It's just odd switching between the the SJ-M sweep and older stuff, because some older stuff is a heck of a lot different from the image of the boy who stands up out of his chair, backing away as he shouts "Hangeng!!" with a mischievous grin. It makes me curious which side of him we will see come 3rd album promotion time...?

AND... AND! Because the interview made me excited... Which side will we see come M's second album...?! Since Hankyung talked about its release!!! \o/ Jen: YES. YES. More new songs than just six! Let the heralds of music hear my plea, and PLEASE let Kyuhyun record a studio version of "The Moon Represents My Heart" for the love of all that is good and right and irresistible in the world. I sing that song at the most ridiculous times, and I really, really need it. Please. Just for me. Henry can even sing backup. And then I'll really be dead. Of OMG the cute.

...Reading between the lines up there, did I just say I like him more when he keeps his mouth shut? Ha. Ha. Only sometimes, kid. Only sometimes.

Apparently I need to sleep. Incoherency is frowned upon in the land of Jen. XD;;;;

I made turkey chili today. Gracious it was so good. I'll probably have it for lunch and dinner tomorrow. >.>;;; I will also become a turkey, pretty soon.
