okay so i know i'm like 1,000 years late and that i am such a fail b/c i didn't comment on the other parts, but i was just behind and failing and /sigh
but i finished just now and i loved this so much ♥
this is one of those stories that stays in your brain between reading sessions- not in an annoying way or in a tense oh-my-god-it's-a-cliffhanger way. just...the feel of the story stayed with me, i felt. i'd just randomly think of the characters occasionally. and i feel like that happens with the best stories because it's almost like the characters are real.
i wish that i could remember all of what i wanted to say as i read through, but i can't OTL
i loved the characterizations though. and Henry was such a fun addition. i love how you wrote him and i hope you include him in more things!
also, i'm just a sucker for animals, so i was aw-ing over all of the descriptions of the horses :)
you described their relationship so realistically from the conversations to the sex to their thoughts about each other.
i enjoyed every minute of this ♥
and normally i'd be all sad that it was over, but you posted a one-shot, so it's easing the potential separation-anxiety. haha.
